Islamic Economy Award

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and as per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and as part of the initiatives of Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre, the Islamic Economy Award was launched in 2013.

The Award is organized by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Thomson Reuters.

The annual award recognizes innovative world-class business initiatives and ideas that have contributed to the social and economic welfare of the Muslim population. The Award is divided into eight key Islamic economy categories in addition to the prestigious 'Lifetime Achievement Award'.
