Dubai Taxi honours Dubai Police team for roadside assistance to taxi drivers

RTA’s Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has honoured a team of Dubai Police comprising of 1st Sergeant Abdul Rahman Abdo, 1st Policeman Mahmoud Shukri, and Sargent Shamis Al Shamsi for offering roadside assistance to DTC taxi drivers and cooperating during emergencies and road incidents. The felicitation is a gesture of recognition of the significant role of the team in raising traffic safety levels and protecting the lives and assets of riders and drivers. 

“This recognition is a gesture of thanks and appreciation from Dubai Taxi Corporation to its strategic partner, Dubai Police, for the continued cooperation with our drivers and teams focused on the safety of taxi drivers and riders. Dubai Police is also contributing to the concerted efforts to bring happiness and improve the wellbeing of Dubai’s residents and visitors besides raising the emirate’s image globally,” said Mansour Rahma Al Falasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation, RTA. 

The honourees thanked Dubai Taxi Corporation for this recognition and paid tribute to its huge efforts to improve the taxi sector in Dubai. They also commended DTC’s efforts to foster the culture of excellence in customers service, which is one of the key indicators of prosperity.
