31 Oct, 2021

As part of its commitment to playing an active role in achieving the objectives of the Dubai Paperless Strategy, which was launched in February 2018 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, the Dubai Police General Command has succeeded in achieving the complete digital transformation of its internal and external operations and services.

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, received the '100% Paperless' Stamp from the assigned team in Dubai Police that has been working tirelessly to achieve the objectives of this project.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri expressed the Force's pride in this achievement, stressing that it reflects Dubai Police's keenness to implement the Dubai Paperless Strategy and consolidate the emirate's position as a pioneering city in the field of digital governments. The achievement is also in line with the Dubai Police's strategic objectives towards digital transformation and spreading happiness among its internal and external customers, meeting their aspirations to access its services smoothly and efficiently within the highest quality standards.

It is worth noting that Dubai Police has discounted paper printing at all general departments and police stations and disconnected 1,141 printers, thus saving more than AED 62 million and 16 million paper sheets per year.
