DHA announces the acceptance of "Dubai Medical Journal in “Web of Science” for the Emerging Sources Citation Index

The Dubai Health Authority announces the acceptance of "Dubai Medical Journal in “Web of Science” for the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI Clarivate’s) and Embase.

The Dubai Health Authority has announced the acceptance of the "Dubai Medical Journal" in Web of Science for the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) by Clarivate’s - the first Journal to enter the index at the level of the United Arab Emirates - which is the global standard for accrediting the quality of medical journals.
The Authority also announced the acceptance of the journal and inclusion in Embase Medical Database, which contains more than 32 million articles from more than 95 countries.
The journal now is benifit from the Citation process where the Impact Factor and H-Index is calculated.

The Dubai Medical Journal is a fully Open Access journal, that encourages innovative research by promoting original scientific research in the fields of medicine, health sciences, nursing, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory work in addition to women’s and children’s health. Nonclinical subjects related to medicine, especially ethics and complementary medicine as well as social and cultural observations, are also covered.

As international as Dubai itself, the journal offers a global perspective, but also focuses on the United Arab Emirates. Partnerships with local and international medical and health authorities are envisaged.

Dubai Medical Journal, published electronically, was founded in 2018 under the patronage of the Dubai Health Authority – Dubai UAE.
