- Statement by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of the Dubai Council, on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day 2022 (28 August)


“Emirati women have always been integral to the UAE’s society and development. They continue to push boundaries and excel, and their ambition knows no limit. Emirati Women’s Day is an annual opportunity to reflect on all the remarkable social, cultural, and economic contributions of Emirati women. It is a moment to acknowledge all they have achieved personally and professionally.

“These achievements were made possible through the support and enabling environment the UAE’s visionary leaders created and continue to uphold and invest in. When we invest in women, we invest in shaping a better, more prosperous future for everyone. I wish a Happy Emirati Women’s Day to every Emirati woman and every woman who calls the UAE home; every mother, sister, wife and daughter.”
