Maktoum bin Mohammed meets with Saudi Arabia’s Finance Minister at Expo 2020 Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, today met with Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Finance, at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Welcoming the Minister, His Highness highlighted the strong bilateral ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia and the common history and vision shared by both nations under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, and UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.  

The meeting, attended by His Excellency Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, also discussed business and trade relations between the two nations, and ways to boost collaboration in various sectors to serve economic development plans and joint strategic projects.

Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan expressed his happiness at visiting the UAE and praised the growth witnessed in trade and economic relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. He also emphasised the commitment of leaders of both countries to foster further collaboration in various spheres.

Al-Jadaan also lauded the UAE’s remarkable progress in various fields, as well as its rise as a leading destination for investors both regionally and globally.
