As Hatta established itself as a top tourist destination in Dubai, the Tourist Police Department at Dubai Police has introduced a security plan, awareness programs and improved services to ensure the happiness and safety of the city’s tourists during the upcoming season.

Brigadier Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf Al Muhairi, Director of Dubai Tourist Police, confirmed that they had stepped up their security and awareness plans in cooperation with Hatta Police Station and external partners from the tourism sector.

“The Tourism Police Department team toured Hatta hotels, resorts, and entertainment sectors and met w with our partners in the tourism sector to develop a plan and community initiatives and events during the upcoming season,” he said.

Brig. Al Jallaf added that they had organised awareness lectures for resort and hotel employees in the Hatta region, in partnership with the Department of Economy and Tourism, through the Tourism Awareness Program, to raise awareness of ways to deal with and provide assistance to tourists and visitors in the emirate.

It is worth noting that Dubai Police has stationed a Smart Police Station (SPS) in Hatta to provide visitors with the latest technologies 24/7 and without human intervention.
