Khaled bin Mohamed and Hamdan bin Mohammed receive delegations participating in Dubai Airshow 2025

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, today received a number of delegations from brotherly and friendly nations participating in the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow. The largest edition of the event is being held until 21 November at Dubai World Central, where global industry leaders are gathering to shape the future of aviation, space, and defence.

Their Highnesses welcomed the participating delegations, including Ministers of Defence, Chiefs of Staff and Air Force Commanders, expressing their hope that their participation will help achieve positive and productive outcomes that support the sector’s long-term development.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said: “The 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow marks a pivotal moment in the development of the aviation and defence sectors, further strengthening the UAE’s position as a trusted partner and a key driver of global industry growth. The Dubai Airshow is placing increasing emphasis on advanced air mobility. For the first time in the event’s history, the show features flights of electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The Advanced Air Mobility Pavilion offers visitors insights into the evolution of urban transport, with pioneering electric aircraft showcasing the flexibility, innovation and vast potential that are set to redefine mobility worldwide.

This year’s edition features more than 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 new participants, alongside 148,000 visitors and 490 civil and military delegations from 115 countries. The Airshow also features 21 national pavilions, including the Kingdom of Morocco’s first participation, in addition to 98 chalets and an expanded display area of 8,000 square metres, as well as 120 start-ups and 50 investors.

The Dubai Airshow 2025 is being held under the theme ‘The Future Is Here’, uniting global aviation leaders to shape the next era of the aviation and space sectors.
