The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai celebrated the 95th Saudi National Day, on 23 September, with special activities held at Dubai International Airport – Terminal 1. The celebration highlighted the profound fraternal ties and deep-rooted historical bonds between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The festive atmosphere began the moment travelers from the Kingdom arrived at Dubai International Airport, where they were warmly welcomed with flags, and commemorative gifts, symbolizing Emirati hospitality and the enduring relationship between the two brotherly nations. The smart gates were illuminated in green, while children received special gifts from the beloved mascots “Salem and Salama”, creating a memorable keepsake for this cherished national occasion.
In a symbolic gesture of appreciation, Saudi travelers’ passports were stamped with a special commemorative mark bearing the 95th Saudi National Day logo and the phrase (UAE_Saudi, Together-Forever), reflecting the strength of strategic relations and integration between the two nations.
This initiative reflects GDRFA Dubai’s mission of placing people at the heart of its services and reinforces Dubai’s position as a global leader in quality of life. It underscores the authority’s strategy to enhance institutional reputation through human-centered initiatives that foster connection between nations and embody the leadership’s vision of building bridges of love and brotherhood.
