- Dubai Civil Defense celebrates the graduation of 70 firefighters from the Firefighting Foundation Course
The General Command of Dubai Civil Defense celebrated the graduation of 70 recruits from Firefighting Foundation Course No. (47), in the presence of His Excellency Major General Jamal bin Aded Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Civil Defense. The ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Civil Defense Academy.
His Excellency Major General Jamal Al Muhairi affirmed that Dubai Civil Defense places great importance on continuous qualification and training as part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at developing national cadres and enhancing their professional competencies.
His Excellency stressed that this approach contributes to achieving the highest levels of preparedness and proactiveness in dealing with future challenges, in a manner that supports the public safety system and aligns with the vision of the wise leadership to make Dubai the safest city in the world.
His Excellency added that the course combined intensive theoretical knowledge with advanced field training, covering fire and rescue operations using modern tactical methods, hazardous materials management, disaster response, and rapid intervention techniques. The program was designed to enhance operational readiness, strengthen flexibility in dealing with emergencies, and minimize the impact of incidents. It also equips graduates with the skills and expertise needed to apply international best practices and standards professionally and efficiently, ensuring the protection of lives and property.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency Major General Jamal Al Muhairi honored the top graduates of the batch and wished them continued success in their field duties.
